What is Hope Island Resort (HIR) Internet
InfiNet Broadband provided Internet is a fast, reliable network within the Hope Island Resort. The network is private and available to everyone that resides in the resort. High-speed internet plans are available at every home, with available speeds of up to 1000Mbps. The network is a mixture of fibre optics and HFC technologies. Infinet Broadband has implemented a fail-over link so that in the event of the main link going down, the secondary link takes over, meaning 100% availability*.
Are there connection fee's when connecting to HIR network?
No – There are no connection fee’s or contracts when signing up with InfiNet Broadband’s HIR Private fibre internet services for personal home use or business use.
What type of technology types does HIR network provide?
Can I use my existing modem/router to be connect to HIR?
Yes – InfiNet Broadband internet services allow you to use your existing modem/ router as BYO. Most, if not all modem/routers are compatible with the HIR (Hope Island Resort) internet services.
What speeds does HIR offer on their network?
Hope Island resort has a few different types of technologies and speeds (click here to view our Hope Island Resort Internet available speeds) tiers available. Most of the HIR network is HFC technology and will allow speeds of up to 1000Mbps. Other areas throughout the resort are supplied via GPON fibre network, again providing speeds of up to 1000 Mbps.
